Scenario

A critical meeting is scheduled at the Casino for the Drug Syndicate, and the police have caught wind of it...

Weapon/Item Notes
MP5/10 Submachinegun A great overall weapon, excellent for medium to longer-range defense, and a good escorting weapon for an assault.
M3 Super90 Assault Shotgun Good for defense around corners, the main alleyway, in the back lot, and inside of the Casino itself.
Handcannon Useful around the pillars of the entrance for a quick ambush, or inside of the Casino or back lot.
SSG 3000 Sniper Rifle Plenty of room here for this baby, but the Escorting team may opt to head to the back lot, bypassing a critical sniping area altogether.
M4 Assault Rifle An awesome choice for close-to-medium range combat, it kills quickly and effectively for both defenders and assaulters.
Combat Knives Similar to the handcannon, a knife expert can clear out smaller areas with ease.
Akimbo Pistols Not a great choice, but if someone is up for the challenge, why not?
Kevlar Vest This baby keeps you alive.
Laser Sight Throw this on an MP5 or M4 and watch the fragcount climb.
Stealth Slippers Are you the sneaky type who can drop in behind enemy lines and cause havoc? Pair this with an M3 Shotgun or Handcannon and gib your way to victory. Another benefit is that you can fall a bit further with slippers on and not take damage, and all leg damage that does happen does not cause you to limp (requires server cvar e_enhancedSlippers "1")
Silencer Both teams know where each other are, this may not be the best option in this scenario.
Bandolier An extra magazine of ammo AND a grenade? Where do I sign up?
Kevlar Helmet This item does not exist in the Espionage version of AQ2. Plans are to merge or refactor ETE code to work in TNG, at which point this option becomes available.

Defender Objective

A report that a major drug kingpin is meeting his dealers at the Casino tonight, and our job is to stop this meeting. Use any firepower you have available to eliminate the drug kingpin and keep our streets safe!

A very old demo recorded to Youtube gives a very good example of how to play ETV from a defender's point of view. This was played on the original actcity2 map, the screenshots below are from the revised version called act2r

Escorting Objective

ETV 1.jpg The Escorting team starts here, at Motel Mancis. Their objective: See that their Leader reaches the Casino for a critical meetup.
Heading down a familiar corridor, you have two options, go left straight through the cops, or to the right, where you have back room access to the Casino. ETV 2.jpg
ETV 3.jpg Scouting out ahead is a good idea, up here you can defend against the rushing police, or two vantage points for covering the Leader's escorting team.
A great view of the parking garage, surprise the enemy from above. ETV 4.jpg
ETV 5.jpg As an alternative means to reach the Casino, head through the back gate and into the sliding doorway. If you have fallen comrades, this may be a good place to rest a moment and let them respawn so they can help you with the final push to the Casino!
A quick escape the police may not be aware of... ETV 6.jpg
ETV 7.jpg The main entrance to the Casino, if you've got the guts to walk right through the front door!
Turn the corner here, but watch out for police ambushes! ETV 8.jpg
ETV 9.jpg Get your Leader to this corner here, it will be marked. The police all get fired and executed on the spot! Well Done!
